Job summary

Thrive Childcare and Education invites an Early Years Practitioner to join the Thrive Leyland Meadows team, supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing in a safe, nurturing nursery.

You will deliver high-quality EYFS education, build strong relationships with parents and carers, observe progress, and work with colleagues to provide outstanding childcare. Level 2 or 3 EY qualification is essential, with a passion for children's growth and development.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential.
• Experience as Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Nurse preferred.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Caring, enthusiastic, and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Support children's learning, development, and school readiness.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
• Observe, assess, and track children's progress.
• Work as part of a team to deliver outstanding childcare.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating nursery environment.

Job Type: Full Time & Part Time Available

Salary: £13.25 per hour (Level 2) - £13.55 per hour (Level 3)

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Thrive Leyland Meadows. This role is ideal for an experienced Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Practitioner, or Nursery Nurse looking to grow within a supportive and forward-thinking childcare setting.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality early years education and care, ensuring every child has the best start in life.
