Thrive Childcare and Education in Oldham is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join the Holyrood Shaw Nursery team. You will deliver high-quality early years education and care in line with EYFS, supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a safe, nurturing environment.

This role is ideal for an experienced Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Practitioner, or Nursery Nurse looking to grow within a supportive childcare setting.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
• Experience working as an Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Nurse (preferred).
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Support children’s learning, development, and school readiness.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
• Observe, assess, and track children’s progress.
• Work as part of a team to deliver outstanding childcare.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating nursery environment.
• Continue your professional development as an Early Years Practitioner.

Job Type:

Full Time & Part Time Available

Salary:

£13.25 per hour (Level 2) - £13.55 per hour (Level 3)
