Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with welcoming nursery settings across Camden and is seeking passionate Early Years Practitioners (Level 2 and 3). You'll support children's development through engaging activities, imaginative play, outdoor exploration, creative learning and positive daily routines, across a range of Camden settings.

The role requires a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, excellent communication and teamwork, and a flexible, proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential).
• Demonstrated passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Experience or exposure within EYFS or nursery environments (preferred).
• Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding practices.
• Willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS and maintain professional references.

Salary: £15–£18 per hour, dependent on experience

The successful Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 and 3) will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential)
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, wellbeing and development
• Experience or exposure within an EYFS or nursery environment (preferred but not essential)
• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• A caring, patient, enthusiastic and positive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Paediatric First Aid (preferred but not essential)
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one (preferred but not essential)
• A flexible, reliable and proactive attitude
