Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is currently supporting a school and on-site nursery in recruiting a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner for a temporary role that could become permanent for the right candidate.

You will work in a nurturing, child-centric setting with up to 32 children aged 2 upwards, on the school site with ample outdoor space, supporting language development and independence while delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate activities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent (or working towards this).
• Experience working with young children in an early years setting.

Location: DY11 / Kidderminster

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £13 - £15 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a school and their on-site nursery, in their search for a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner. The nursery works hard to ensure good quality care and creates diverse learning opportunities for the children within the setting. They currently support up to 32 children from ages 2 upwards, by adopting a nurturing and child-centric approach. The setting is on the same site as the school, in a beautifully decorated building, with lots of outdoor space to explore through play. The nursery helps children to develop a love of books and reading, supporting them with their communication and language development as well as supporting their independence.

This nursery is looking to take on a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner on a temporary basis, leading to a permanent role for the right Early Years practitioner. The successful Early Years Practitioner will have previous experience working within an early years setting, as well as a good knowledge of how young children learn and develop. You will work with the team to give children new opportunities to learn and develop whilst supporting their growth.

You will initially be employed on a temporary basis, however the role will go permanent after a 20 week period for the right Early Years Practitioner.

The successful Early Years Practitioner will have:

• A Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent (or be working towards this)
• Previous experience working with young children in an early years setting
• A positive and caring approach to supporting children learn and develop
