Job summary

Kids is seeking a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our nursery team in Basingstoke. The role focuses on care and education for children aged 0–5, delivering play-based learning and building strong partnerships with families. Location at Shakespeare Road, Popley, Basingstoke.

Permanent, all year round with potential term-time options; 22.5 hours per week. Salary £15,540 per annum. Applicants should have a Level 3 Early Years Qualification and experience in a nursery setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 Early Years Qualification as listed on the DfE approved qualifications checker.
• Demonstrable understanding of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Key Worker for a group of children and develop personalised learning journeys.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities supporting EYFS.
• Observe and record each child's progress to inform next steps in learning.
• Promote development across physical, emotional and intellectual domains.
