Job summary

Early Years Academy is recruiting a qualified Nursery Practitioner for a nursery in Bordon, Hampshire, offering a salary up to £34,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. You will provide high-quality care and early education for babies, toddlers and preschool children in line with EYFS.

The role requires safeguarding awareness, teamwork and the ability to plan engaging activities, observe progress, and support children with additional needs where applicable.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Childcare or Early Years suitable for the role.
• Experience with babies, toddlers or preschoolers in a nursery or early years setting.
• Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities.
• Ability to plan engaging learning activities and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality care and early education for babies, toddlers and preschool children.
• Support learning and development in line with EYFS.
• Plan and deliver creative, age‑appropriate activities.
• Observe and assess progress, identifying individual learning needs.
• Support children with SEND and promote inclusive practice.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming nursery environment.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety policies.
• Contribute to staff meetings and professional development.
• Support personal care routines and promote emotional wellbeing.
