Job summary

TimePlan Education is seeking Qualified Early Years Practitioners (Level 2/3 or higher) to work on an ad hoc supply basis in nurseries around Basingstoke. Roles can be full-time or part-time, temporary or supply, with flexible hours to suit you. You will support children's learning and development in the EYFS, plan activities, and maintain high safeguarding standards. Paediatric First Aid is preferred, and nursery experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification (or higher).
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate preferred.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development.
• Positive, caring attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Experience in a nursery setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, caring environment for children aged 0-5.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Observe and record children's development for learning journeys.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and hygiene standards.

Role: Qualified Early Years Practitioner (Bank)

Location: Basingstoke

Hours: Full-Time or Part-time

Job Type: Temporary, Supply

Are you a warm, enthusiastic and dedicated childcare professional? We are looking for Qualified Early Years Practitioners (Level 2, Level 3 or above) to work in nurseries across Basingstoke and surrounding areas. This opportunity is to work on an adhoc supply basis, working as little or as much as you want.

About the Role:

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing high-quality early years education and care. You'll help create a nurturing, stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Your passion, creativity, and commitment to exceptional childcare will shine through in everything you do.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment for children aged 0-5
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Observe and record children's development, contributing to their learning journeys
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and hygiene
• Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic and supportive team

We're Looking For:

• A minimum of Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent / higher)
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate (preferred)
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
• A positive, caring attitude and excellent communication skills
• Reliability, professionalism, and a genuine passion for early years education
• Experience in a nursery setting
