Job summary

Bright Horizons Basingstoke Copper Beeches Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our team. You will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support each child’s development and EYFS milestones, in a welcoming, safe environment close to the Town Centre with easy bus access.

The role offers a starting salary of £28,073 per annum, with qualification and experience affecting pay.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Good safeguarding knowledge and child protection practices.
• Ability to build trust with colleagues and parents/carers.

Salary – starting from £28,073 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our Bright Horizons Basingstoke Copper Beeches Day Nursery and Preschool, situated within a walking distance to the Town Centre, with a super easy bus route.

The nursery has stunning expansive gardens, dedicated children’s kitchen, 7 base rooms, large onsite parking, staff children attend and flexible shifts. In addition, there’s a large staff room to relax in, training opportunities, wellbeing is at the heart of the Nursery, and a robust and supportive induction programme.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.
