Job summary

Bright Horizons Livingston Early Learning and Childcare is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join our welcoming Livingston nursery. You will plan, create and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each of your key children, fostering a safe environment and a love of learning.

You will hold a full and relevant Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification, understand the Scottish Curriculum, and safeguard children with diligence.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification required.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the Scottish Curriculum.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child.
• Maintain a safe environment that allows children to express themselves and develop a love of learning.
• Support the Ready for School programme and daily nursery routines.
