Job summary

Bright Horizons Livingston Nursery is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to plan and deliver engaging activities for children aged 3 months to 5 years. The role emphasizes safeguarding, safeguarding, and fostering a love of learning within a nurturing setting in Livingston.

You will work with a team to implement the Ready for School programme, coordinate with parents, and contribute to a welcoming, high-quality early childhood environment that supports exploration and growth.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the Scottish Curriculum.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/caregivers.

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child.
• Create a safe environment that encourages self-expression and exploration.
