Job summary

Tyndale Community School in Oxford is seeking a caring Early Years Worker-1 to join our expanding nursery provision for children aged 2-4 years. You will work closely with the Nursery Lead to provide high-quality care, learning opportunities and nurturing support for young children.

This role involves opening and supervising Breakfast Club at 07:45 and supervising After School Club until 17:45, while supporting learning through purposeful play and developing strong relationships with children,

Responsibilities

• Opening and supervising Breakfast Club from 07:45
• Supervising After School Club until 17:45
• Supporting children’s learning and development through purposeful play and high-quality interactions
• Helping to create a safe, stimulating and engaging nursery environment
• Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, independence and communication skills
• Contributing to observations, assessments and planning opportunities linked to children’s interests and development
• Promoting inclusive practice and ensuring all children feel valued and supported
• Working collaboratively as part of the wider Early Years and school team
• As the nursery provision develops, opportunities within the 9 months-2 years provision to shape routines, practice and provision
