Job summary

Bright Horizons Tytherington Nursery is recruiting an Early Years Practitioner to join our Tytherington team on a 30-hour week.

You will plan, deliver and reflect on engaging activities for key children, foster a safe, inclusive learning environment and build strong relationships with children and their families, supporting SEND needs where required.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Experience with children who have special educational needs.
• Ability to plan, deliver and reflect on engaging activities for key children.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with colleagues and parents/careers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each key child.
• Create a safe learning environment that supports exploration and expression.

Nursery – Bright Horizons Tytherington

Salary – Starting from £28,072.90 FTE per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Location – Tytherington Business Park, Macclesfield SK10 2XA

We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our Tytherington Nursery 30 hours/week.

The correct candidate for this role will have experience in working with children who have special educational needs. The role requires providing 121 activities and the candidate will have ability to build up strong relationships with the children and their families.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What We’re Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
