Job summary

Monarch Education is seeking Nursery Practitioners to support learning and development across Oxfordshire nurseries. The role involves delivering play-based activities, fostering wellbeing, and observing progress under EYFS guidelines.

Suitable candidates hold a recognised Early Years qualification and have UK EY experience. We welcome applicants who can work daily supply, short-term, or long-term placements with flexible options to fit availability.

Qualifications

• Must have a recognised Early Years qualification suitable for working in an Early Years setting.
• At least 12 months' experience working within a UK Early Years setting.
• Confident supporting children birth to 5 years old.
• Sound understanding of the EYFS framework.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning, development and wellbeing through play-based activities.
• Create engaging and nurturing learning environments.
• Assist with observations and learning journals.
• Support children's social, emotional and communication development.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Help deliver high-quality Early Years provision in line with EYFS standards.

Salary: GBP14.25 - GBP18 per hour

Monarch Education is working with a range of nurseries and Early Years settings across Oxford and is looking to recruit experienced Nursery Practitioners who are passionate about supporting young children's learning and development.

Whether you're looking for daily supply, short-term assignments, long-term placements or a route into a permanent role, we can offer flexibility to suit your availability.
