Job summary

Refresh Recruitment Limited in Surbiton is seeking a Nursery Practitioner with Level 2 or 3 childcare qualifications. The role involves delivering engaging activities, nurturing a safe EYFS environment, and supporting children's development.

You will work 40 hours per week, across 4 or 5 days, with DBS safeguarding involvement and a strong emphasis on teamwork. The successful candidate will have relevant nursery experience, excellent communication, and a passion for early years education,

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.

Salary: £28,100 - £30,400 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, worked over either 4 or 5 days, Monday to Friday

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in nurturing children's development, supporting their learning through play, and creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

Important Requirement

You must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or an equivalent recognised qualification to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children.
• Observe, assess, and monitor children's development and progress.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Support the day-to-day operation of the nursery and maintain high standards of care.
• Follow and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Lead by example and demonstrate best practice in early years education.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support children's learning and development.
• Contribute ideas and initiatives to enhance the nursery environment and children's experiences.

About You
