Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in High Wycombe is seeking a Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3) to join a nurturing educational setting. The role offers 40 hours per week across 4 or 5 days, Monday to Friday, supporting children's early learning journeys.

You will deliver activities, observe development, and work with families and colleagues to create an inclusive environment that adheres to EYFS standards.

Qualifications

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong teamwork and organisational skills.
  • Genuine passion for supporting young children's growth and development.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children.
  • Observe, assess, and monitor children's development and progress.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
  • Support the day-to-day operation of the nursery and maintain high standards of care.
  • Follow and implement the EYFS framework.
  • Lead by example and demonstrate best practice in early years education.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support children's learning and development.
  • Contribute ideas and initiatives to enhance the nursery environment and children's experiences.

About You
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
  • A sound understanding of child development and early years best practice.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong teamwork and organisational skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young children's growth and development.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.
