Job summary

Bright Horizons Romsey Day Nursery and Pre School is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to plan, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child's development. You will foster a safe, inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and a love of learning.

You will work with colleagues and families, applying EYFS principles and safeguarding practices. Level 3+ qualification required; DBS checks and pre-employment safeguarding are standard.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Strong safeguarding and child protection knowledge.
• Ability to build trust and partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.

Responsibilities

• As an Early Years Practitioner, plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child to support development toward milestones.
• Create a safe, encouraging environment that permits children to express themselves and fosters a lifelong love of learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues and engage with parents/carers to support children's progress.

Nursery –Bright Horizons Romsey Day Nursery and Pre School

Salary – Level 2 £27,009 - £27,823 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Salary – Level 3 £28,072 - £33,020 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

The Role
