Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to work in welcoming early years settings, focusing on learning, development and wellbeing in the crucial early years.

We seek nurturing professionals who create safe, stimulating environments and help children thrive. The role involves play-based activities, observation of progress, and collaboration with parents and staff.

Qualifications

  • Hold a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable).
  • Experience in a nursery, preschool or early years setting.
  • Sound understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Caring, patient and passionate about early childhood development.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to apply for one.

Responsibilities

  • Support children's learning and development through play-based activities.
  • Create a safe, caring and inclusive environment.
  • Encourage social, emotional and communication development.
  • Assist with planning and delivering activities in line with EYFS.
  • Observe, monitor and record children's progress.
  • Support children's personal care needs where required.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

Early Years Practitioner Required

Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to work within welcoming early years settings. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young children\'s learning, development, and wellbeing during their crucial early years.

The Role

  • Support children\'s learning and development through play-based activities
  • Create a safe, caring, and inclusive environment
  • Encourage children\'s social, emotional, and communication development
  • Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Observe, monitor, and record children\'s progress
  • Support children\'s personal care needs where required
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

The Ideal Candidate

We are keen to hear from candidates who:

  • Hold a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable)
  • Have previous experience working in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting
  • Have a sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Are caring, patient, and passionate about early childhood development
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Are committed to creating positive learning experiences for young children
  • Hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or are willing to apply for one
