Job summary

Falkirk Council is hiring an Early Years Officer for Carronshore Primary School, ELC Class. The role focuses on delivering high quality play and learning, indoors and outdoors, and building strong relationships with children and families.

You will hold an HNC/SVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent) and be registered with or seeking registration with the SSSC; PVG membership may be required.

An opportunity has arisen for an Early Years Officer to join the team at Carronshore Primary School, ELC Class.

You will have skills, knowledge and experience of all current Early Learning and Childcare provision and procedures and have a passion for promoting and delivering high quality play and learning both indoors and outdoors.

You will work as an effective team member and establish positive relationships with children and families. You will have knowledge and experience of current early learning and childcare provision and procedures.

With experience of working with children, you will have an HNC/SVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent. You must be registered with or currently seeking registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.

The post is full time (37 hours, term time) and is permanent within Falkirk Council Children’s Services.
