Job summary

Falkirk Council’s Children’s Services seeks an Early Years Officer for Carronshore Primary School, ELC Class. You will promote high quality play and learning, indoors and outdoors, and build positive relationships with children and families within a supportive team.

You should hold an HNC/SVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent and be registered with or seeking registration with the SSSC. PVG membership may be required. Term-time, full-time permanent post.

Qualifications

• Experience with Early Learning and Childcare provision.
• Ability to promote high quality play and learning indoors and outdoors.
• Experience in working with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Promote and deliver high quality play and learning indoors and outdoors.
• Establish positive relationships with children and families.
• Work as an effective team member within Falkirk Council's Children’s Services.
• Maintain PVG scheme membership and SSSC registration requirements.
