Job summary

Mayplace Primary School is seeking a Nursery Teaching Assistant to join from the start of the new term. You will work with the Nursery Teacher to support children's learning, development and wellbeing in a warm Early Years environment.

The role involves 32.5 hours per week over 39 weeks, with pay adjusted to FTE £29,111. A Level 2/3 in Early Years is preferred, together with EY experience and a passion for early childhood development.

Responsibilities

• Support the EYFS curriculum alongside the Nursery Teacher.
• Plan and deliver engaging play-based activities for young children.
• Supervise and support children during learning, play and routines.
• Observe and record children's progress and development.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive classroom environment.
