Job summary

Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited is seeking a Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School from the start of the new term. You will assist the Nursery Teacher to support learning, development and wellbeing in a warm Early Years environment.

The role includes EYFS delivery, planning play-based activities, supervising children, recording progress, and forming positive relationships with families, all while upholding safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• A relevant childcare or education qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 in Early Years or equivalent).
• Experience working with children in the Early Years age range.
• Genuine passion for early childhood development.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of EYFS curriculum and learning activities.
• Plan and deliver engaging play-based activities.
• Supervise children during learning, play and routines.
• Observe and record children's progress and development.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive classroom.
