Job summary

Empowering Learning Group in the UK is seeking enthusiastic, unqualified Early Years Teaching Assistants to join their nursery teams. You will support learning, development and play for children from babies upwards in a safe, caring environment.

No formal Early Years qualification is required, but you must have experience with children and be eager to develop your skills within a professional nursery setting. DBS checks and references will be requested.

Qualifications

• Experience or exposure to caring for children in any setting.
• Willingness to undertake personal care duties including nappies.
• Demonstrated reliability and good timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Support the nursery team in providing a safe, caring environment for babies and children.
• Assist with learning, development and play activities.
• Support children's personal care and hygiene needs as required.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Assist with day-to-day duties to support the wider team.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies at all times.
• Ensure children are cared for with patience, kindness and respect.
