Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with welcoming private day nurseries in Pontefract and surrounding areas to recruit Early Years Assistants. The role involves supporting children across the nurseries, assisting with daily routines, encouraging learning through play and helping to create a positive, inclusive environment for every child.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months' childcare experience.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• A willingness to support across different age groups where required.
