Leicestershire County Council is seeking an Early Years Expert at Hand Advisor based at County Hall, Glenfield. The role focuses on supporting developmentally young children within SEND reform and works with settings and schools to promote education, welfare and inclusion.

You will model strategies, advise families and professionals, and contribute to records; travel to venues may be required. A Level 6 Early Years qualification and an enhanced DBS are essential.

Formación

• Hold a relevant Level 6 qualification in Early Years (e.g. QEY, EY Practitioner) with evidence of SEND development.
• Excellent knowledge of school readiness and how to support settings, schools and families to help development.

Responsabilidades

• Model strategies and give advice to settings and schools to support developmentally young children.
• Support schools and childcare settings to develop high-quality inclusive provision and curricula.
• Provide advice to parents and professionals and signpost to other support agencies including family hubs.
• Keep records as required by Senior SEND Advisors.
