Bright Horizons Northgate House Beaconsfield is hiring an Early Years Housekeeper to keep the nursery clean, safe, and tidy for children and staff. The role includes daily cleaning, maintaining bathroom hygiene, and handling laundry, with additional support during mealtimes.

The position is 20 hours per week, 11am–3pm, in Beaconsfield. Salary starts at £13.26 per hour, subject to qualifications and experience, with benefits including childcare discounts and more.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in domestic or commercial settings.
• Food Safety L2 or above (must be passed on day 1 in post).
• Sound knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements.
• Great communication skills with colleagues, children, and parents.

Responsibilities

• Keep the nursery clean and safe for children, staff and families.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in bathrooms and nappy areas.
• Carry out daily laundry and assist with other nursery tasks (e.g., mealtimes support).
• Support the team to ensure a welcoming environment.

We’re looking for an Early Years Housekeeper to join our Northgate House Day Nursery! The nursery is located in the centre of the beautiful market town of Beaconsfield, just a short 15 minute walk from Beaconsfield rail station and local shops. The Role

As an Early Years Housekeeper, you will keep the nursery a clean and safe environment for the children, colleagues, and families. You will maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of the children’s bathroom and nappy change areas throughout the day, carry out daily laundry as required, and be prepared to help with additional nursery tasks where required, such as supporting over mealtimes and cleaning of equipment.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience of cleaning within a domestic or commercial property
• Food Safety CIEH L2 or above (or equivalent) – this must be passed on day 1 in post
• Sound knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements
• Great communication skills, with colleagues, children, and parents
