Job summary

Bright Horizons Clairmont in Wilmslow is hiring an Early Years Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for children and staff. You will clean nurseries, bathrooms and nappies areas, handle daily laundry and support mealtimes as required.

The role includes safeguarding checks (enhanced DBS) and safer recruitment procedures. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and offer training and career progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• DBS check required as part of safer recruitment process.
• Experience in nursery or children-focused environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Keep the nursery clean and safe for children, colleagues and families.
• Maintain high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in children’s bathrooms and nappy change areas.
• Carry out daily laundry as required.
• Help with mealtimes and cleaning of equipment as needed.

The Role

As an Early Years Housekeeper, you will keep the nursery a clean and safe environment for the children, colleagues, and families. You will maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of the children’s bathroom and nappy change areas throughout the day, carry out daily laundry as required, and be prepared to help with additional nursery tasks where required, such as supporting over mealtimes and cleaning of equipment.
