Job summary

Bright Horizons Northgate House Beaconsfield is seeking an Early Years Housekeeper for a 20-hour week, 11am to 3pm. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe nursery environment for children, staff and families, with duties including bathroom hygiene, daily laundry, and occasional support during meals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of cleaning within a domestic or commercial property.
• Food Safety CIEH L2 or above (or equivalent) – this must be passed on day 1 in post.
• Sound knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements.
• Great communication skills, with colleagues, children, and parents.

Responsibilities

• Keep the nursery a clean and safe environment for the children, colleagues, and families.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of the children’s bathroom and nappy change areas throughout the day.
• Carry out daily laundry as required.
• Be prepared to help with additional nursery tasks where required, such as supporting over mealtimes and cleaning of equipment.
