Job summary

Bright Horizons Northgate House Day Nursery in Beaconsfield is hiring an Early Years Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for children and staff. You will uphold high hygiene standards in nursery spaces and manage daily laundry while assisting with occasional tasks such as mealtimes and equipment cleaning.

This part-time role offers 20 hours per week (11am–3pm) with pay starting at £13.26 per hour, depending on qualification and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning within domestic or commercial properties.
• Food Safety Level 2 (or equivalent) to be passed on day 1 in post.
• COSHH and Health and Safety knowledge.
• Excellent communication with colleagues, children, and parents.

We’re looking for an Early Years Housekeeper to join our Northgate House Day Nursery! The nursery is located in the centre of the beautiful market town of Beaconsfield, just a short 15 minute walk from Beaconsfield rail station and local shops. The Role

As an Early Years Housekeeper, you will keep the nursery a clean and safe environment for the children, colleagues, and families. You will maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of the children’s bathroom and nappy change areas throughout the day, carry out daily laundry as required, and be prepared to help with additional nursery tasks where required, such as supporting over mealtimes and cleaning of equipment.

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience of cleaning within a domestic or commercial property
• Food Safety CIEH L2 or above (or equivalent) – this must be passed on day 1 in post
• Sound knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements
• Great communication skills, with colleagues, children, and parents
