Job summary

Bright Horizons Reigate is seeking an Early Years Chef to prepare, cook and present age-appropriate meals for children across the nursery, with a focus on nutrition and minimizing waste.

You will communicate dietary needs clearly to teams and parents, lead cookery club sessions, and support nursery activities and events such as BBQs and fêtes. Food Safety Level 2 or higher, COSHH awareness, and enhanced safeguarding checks are required.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in a domestic or commercial setting.
• Passion for nutrition and inspiring healthy eating.
• Sound knowledge of managing dietary requirements, including allergies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present age-appropriate meals for all children in the nursery.
• Lead cookery club sessions with the children.

You will ensure all dietary requirements are catered for and clearly communicated to teams, and work in partnership with the team and parents to encourage a healthy and nutritious diet.
