Job summary

Bright Horizons Farnham Westchester House Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking an Early Years Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for children, families and staff. You will uphold high hygiene standards in bathrooms and nappies, manage daily laundry, and assist with extra nursery tasks as needed.

You will follow Food Safety guidelines, COSHH and Health & Safety rules, with safeguarding and DBS checks completed before appointment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of cleaning within a domestic or commercial property.
• Food Safety L2 or above (or equivalent) – to be passed on day 1 in post.
• Sound knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Keep the nursery clean and safe for children, colleagues and families.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in bathrooms and nappy change areas.
• Carry out daily laundry and assist with additional nursery tasks as needed (e.g., mealtimes support, equipment cleaning).
