Job summary

Bright Horizons Eddington Day Nursery and Preschool in Cambridge is seeking an Early Years Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for children and staff. You will ensure high standards of hygiene in daily routines, including bathrooms and nappies, and assist with laundry and equipment cleaning as needed.

The role requires Food Safety Level 2 or equivalent, COSHH knowledge, and strong communication with colleagues, children and parents.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning in domestic or commercial settings is desirable.
• COSHH and Health and Safety knowledge required.
• Excellent communication with colleagues, children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery.
• Keep children’s bathrooms and nappy change areas clean throughout the day.
• Carry out daily laundry as required.
• Assist with additional nursery tasks such as mealtime support and equipment cleaning.
