Busy Bees Nurseries is seeking an Early Years Educator to support the intellectual, social and emotional development of children in our York-based nursery. You will help plan engaging activities and create a safe, inclusive learning environment for young learners.

The role focuses on delivering our Bee Curious curriculum, working closely with families, and tracking progress through observations and assessments.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in early years education/childcare.
• Experience working with children under 5.
• Empathy and understanding – each child is unique.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering educational activities that promote children's development.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Take on the role of Key Person, fostering partnerships with children and their families.
• Track and report on children's progress through observations and assessments.
