Job summary

Realise Training in Bradford is offering an Early Years Educator Apprenticeship. You will gain hands-on experience while working towards your qualification, supported by experienced practitioners every step of the way.

You will train for 14 months, 30-40 hours per week, with on‑the‑job learning and 20% off-the-job training provided by Realise. The role includes safeguarding, teamwork, and progression opportunities within a friendly nursery environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent in maths and English.
• Apprenticeship programme with Level 3 Early Years Educator standard.
• Support from experienced practitioners throughout the apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily care, learning, and development of children in line with the EYFS
• Help plan and deliver fun, engaging activities to support children’s learning
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Assist with meal times, personal care routines, and promoting independence
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
• Observe children and contribute to learning journeys and assessments
• Support children’s emotional wellbeing and encourage positive behaviour
• Follow nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health & safety
• Work as part of a team and participate in training sessions and meetings
• Develop knowledge and skills while completing apprenticeship coursework
