Job summary

Realise is seeking an Early Years Apprentice to join a supportive team, learning while making a positive impact on children’s lives. You will split your week with 20% training and the rest gaining hands-on experience in a nurturing environment, supporting developmental milestones and family communication.

You will engage children in EYFS-aligned activities, build strong relationships with families and colleagues, and uphold high safety, hygiene and care standards throughout daily routines.

Qualifications

• GCSE level education preferred for level 3 apprenticeship.
• Experience working with children is preferred for progression.

Responsibilities

• Dedicate 20% of the week to training and rest to hands-on childcare experience.
• Help create a warm, safe space where children thrive.
• Engage children in play-based activities aligned with EYFS framework.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Support developmental milestones and update parents accordingly.
• Assist with daily routines, maintaining safety and hygiene standards.
