Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is recruiting an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner for a private day nursery in Wakefield. You will support children aged 6 months to 4 years, helping them learn through play and the EYFS framework.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a caring, flexible approach encouraged. You should have at least six months’ experience in childcare, knowledge of the EYFS curriculum, and a willingness to undertake training in safeguarding and EYFS.

Qualifications

TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a private day nursery based in Wakefield. The nursery provides exceptional care and a range of stimulating learning opportunities, supporting children to develop key cognitive and motor skills through the EYFS curriculum.

The nursery is looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis, supporting children aged 6 months to 4 years. The successful Early Years Practitioner will be eager to develop their Early Years knowledge, undertake relevant training and take a caring, flexible approach to supporting how children learn.

The successful Early Years Practitioner will have:

• A minimum of six months’ experience working within the childcare sector
• Knowledge or an understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• A willingness to undertake training in areas such as Safeguarding and the EYFS curriculum
• An eagerness to learn new skills and develop knowledge of the Early Years sector
• A caring and positive approach to working with young children
• A flexible and enthusiastic approach to supporting children’s learning and development
