Job summary

Rise Park Infant School/Junior School is seeking a Class Learning Support Assistant to work in Nursery/EYFS, with early years focus and potential future placement elsewhere. The role encourages building strong pupil relationships, engaging learning activities and collaborative team work.

Start date is 1 January 2027, with hours 31.25 per week (Mon-Fri 8:30am-3:15pm) and 38 teaching weeks plus 5.7 weeks holiday.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification required.
• Ability to develop positive relationships with pupils.
• Proactive, well-organised and collaborative.
• Able to engage and enthuse pupils in sessions.

Responsibilities

• Able to develop positive relationships with pupils and use a variety of strategies to meet individual needs.
• Proactive, well-organised and willing to work collaboratively with the class teacher, year group leader and other LSAs.
• Able to engage and enthuse pupils to participate in sessions.
