Caverstede Nursery School in Peterborough is seeking an Early Years Assistant (Grade 4 SCP 3-5) to join a dedicated class team. The role supports delivery of the EYFS for children aged 2 to 4, including those with additional needs, in both the classroom and our outdoor learning environment.
You must hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification, be fluent in English, and be prepared to work 35 hours per week (or 32.5 hours with the right arrangement).
Early Years Assistant (Grade 4 SCP 3-5). Permanent positions; 35 hours or 32.5 hours (5 days per week) preferable but part time positions may be considered (contact the school to discuss).
The role will require you to work as a key person and member of a class team delivering the EYFS, in the classroom and our magical outdoor learning environment. You will be working with children aged between 2 and 4 years old, some of whom have additional needs. Please see the Job Description and Person Specification for the roles.
You MUST hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent that allows you to work in an Early Years Setting. Please send a copy of your Certificate confirming your Childcare Qualification when submitting your application.
Fluency Duty: In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
