Job summary

You will travel to employer sites, conduct regular progress reviews, provide constructive feedback, and build strong employer relationships to secure placement opportunities, ensuring compliance with awarding body requirements and meticulous record keeping.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ/VRQ in Early Years or as a Teaching Assistant.
• Recent practical experience across early years education and care.
• Experience assessing early years learners.
• Well organised with strong administrative and IT skills.
• Full driving licence and access to transport for travel between employer sites.

Responsibilities

• Assess learners and apprentices against national standards in workplace and college.
• Conduct regular progress reviews and track learner achievement.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to support completion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local early years employers.
• Travel to employer premises to carry out workplace assessments.
• Maintain accurate assessment records in line with awarding body requirements.
• Keep records and documentation up to date for audits and compliance.
