Job summary

National Skills Agency is seeking a dedicated trainer/mentor to support apprentices in the Early Years Education sector. The role is home-based with travel to nursery settings to visit learners and employers within assigned areas.

You will plan, coordinate and deliver training and assessment, sharing sector knowledge to help learners complete their programmes on time. You will manage a busy schedule, stay current with policies, and inspire learners and colleagues with a proactive, positive

• CAVA, A1 award or working towards
• Qualification in Early Years at level 3 or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Holistically plan, coordinate, mentor and support on training and assessment for apprentices based in the Early Years Education sector

Job description

The role is based from your home address whilst there is also an expectation to get out and about to see your learners.

This post will holistically plan, co-ordinate, mentor and support on training and assessment for apprentices based in the Early Years Education sector. Knowledge and experience from working in the Early Years sector will be shared with apprentices to ensure they achieve their programme at the highest possible level and in a timely fashion.

It's a busy role with a mix of appointments, admin and keeping up to date with the latest policies and procedures. Time-management and organisational skills are as essential as a positive outlook and self-motivation!
