Job summary

Realise is offering a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship in Accrington. You will train on the job while earning, under the guidance of experienced practitioners, in a supportive environment.

The programme includes observing staff, taking on responsibilities like planning records and safeguarding, and working toward the EYFS standards. Many apprentices progress to Level 3 after about a year of service.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths/English grade 3 or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level.
• Some experience working with babies or children under five is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain children’s records.
• Contribute to safeguarding policies and health, safety and wellbeing of children.
• Help plan and deliver activities in line with the EYFS.
• Work with qualified staff to support children and families.
