Job summary

Realise Training is offering an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner role at Partou in Accrington. The 12‑month apprenticeship leads to Level 2 Early Years Practitioner, with on‑the‑job training provided by Realise and their training partner.

You’ll earn while you learn, starting at £12.26/hour with a salary of £19,125.60 per year, and 30 hours per week. You’ll gain experience by observing experienced staff, maintaining records, and following EYFS guidance.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths/English grade 3 or equivalent or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills alongside the apprenticeship.
• Some experience working with babies or children under five is desirable.
• Articulate and friendly; patient and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Observe and learn from experienced practitioners.
• Plan and maintain children’s records.
• Understand safeguarding policies and support health, safety, cleanliness and wellbeing of the children.
• Build relationships with children, parents and colleagues and help plan activities in line with EYFS.
