Job summary

Bright Horizons Elm Grove Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking an Early Years Apprentice in Kingston upon Thames to care for children up to age 5. You will work with a supportive team, engage in interactive play, reading, and activities to spark curiosity, and progress through required training for your qualification.

You will attend assessor-led training, develop trust with children, parents and colleagues, and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Commitment to completing your apprenticeship.
• English qualification GCSE Grade C / Level 4 or above or Functional Skills Level 2.
• Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents.

Responsibilities

• Look after babies and children up to age 5 as part of a team.
• Support learning through interactive play, reading and activities.
• Attend required training and coursework for completion of your formal qualification.
• Reflect and proactively use new ideas and initiatives to enhance development and learning.
