Job summary

Bright Horizons Cambridge Nurseries is offering a fast-track Level 3 Early Years Apprenticeship. The ten-month programme combines hands-on nursery work with structured learning at the Learning Hub to achieve the Level 3 qualification.

You will support babies and children up to age 5 through play and daily activities, four days in nursery and one day for study. DBS checks and safeguarding are part of the process, with comprehensive pastoral support provided.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children and starting a rewarding career in Early Years.
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above, or Functional Skills Level 2 in both subjects.
• You must have lived in the UK for the last three years.
• Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support learning, development and wellbeing of children aged up to 5 through play-based experiences and everyday interactions.
• Work four days per week in the nursery and one day per week at the Learning Hub undertaking structured learning toward Level 3 qualification.
• Receive ongoing support from experienced colleagues and apprenticeship specialists to develop skills and confidence.
