Job summary

Bright Horizons Hinchley Wood Day Nursery and Preschool in Esher, Surrey, is seeking an Early Years Apprentice to join our team. You will care for children up to 5 years old through play, reading and interactive activities, while working toward a formal qualification under supervision.

You will complete required training with support from your assessor, and participate in ongoing development while building trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Commitment to completing your apprenticeship.
• English qualification GCSE Grade C / Level 4 or above or Functional Skills Level 2.
• Previous experience with children is beneficial but not essential.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to build trust and strong partnerships with colleagues and parents.

Responsibilities

• Look after babies and children up to age 5 as part of a team.
• Engage in interactive play, activities and reading to support learning.
• Attend required training and coursework to complete the qualification.
• Reflect on practice and use new ideas to enhance development.
