Grandir UK Limited is seeking an Early Years Apprentice for Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Ower. You will help care for children, support development, and learn through hands‑on practice in a welcoming setting.

Responsibilities

• Identify and meet each child’s individual needs.
• Supervise and support children at all times.

• Act as a positive role model for children and establish trust with parents.
• Develop professional relationships with staff and parents.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and childcare policies.
• Progress toward Early Years qualification with hands-on experience.

About Our Nursery

Our nursery is set within beautifully converted stables, offering bright, welcoming spaces filled with natural light. Age-appropriate playrooms support every stage of development, with a calm Baby Room, engaging Toddler and Preschool areas, and transitions tailored to each child's individual readiness.

Location and Travel

Kiddi Caru Ower is ideally located on Salisbury Road, just off the M27 and close to Pollards Moor Road, Frogmore Lane and Romsey Road. Our setting is surrounded by rural fields and sits opposite Paultons Park, making it convenient for families travelling from Romsey, Ower, and the wider New Forest community.

What You Will Be Doing

• Ensure that the children’s individual needs are identified and met
• Supervise and support the children at all times
• Carry out a wide range of interactive tasks including reading stories, helping at mealtimes, playing games, and changing nappies
• Act as a positive, practical role model for the children
• Develop friendly, professional relationships with staff members and parents
• Ensure you fully understand and follow Safeguarding Procedures
• Work towards gaining your Early Years qualification in a supportive and professional environment with hands‑on experience
