Job summary

Bright Horizons Shortlands Day Nursery and Pre School in Bromley is seeking an Early Years Apprentice to join the team and care for children up to age 5. You will work with the group on interactive activities and learning, with support to complete your apprenticeship.

With assessor guidance, you will attend required training and coursework for your formal qualification, while building trusting relationships with children and families in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Commitment to completing your apprenticeship.
• GCSE English at grade C/Level 4 or higher or Functional Skills Level 2.
• Willingness to complete alongside your apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Look after babies and children up to age 5 as part of a team.
• Engage in interactive play, reading and activities to support learning.
• Attend required training and coursework to complete your formal qualification.

Education

GCSE English C / Level 4 or above or Functional Skills Level 2

You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – creating learning opportunities that support the children’s learning. With the support of your assessor, you will attend all required training and coursework for completion of your formal qualification.
