Job summary

Storal is recruiting an Apprentice Early Years Educator at Edgbaston Nursery, Birmingham. The role focuses on keeping children safe, loved and inspired to learn while applying the Storal curriculum in daily activities and routines.

You will bond with children and families, seek learning opportunities during meals and transitions, and contribute to a nurturing home-from-home environment that supports curiosity and creativity.

Qualifications

• 16 years or over
• GCSE English and Maths at grade 2/E or above or Functional Skills Level 1+
• Commitment to a full apprenticeship programme
• Patient and friendly
• Consent to share information with employer for grades on the National Learning Records Service
• Maximum 40 minute drive by car or public transport

Responsibilities

Nursery:Edgbaston Nursery School, 41 Calthorpe Rd, Birmingham B15 1TS

Hours: Monday - Friday, Full Time 36 hours

Salary: £8 per hour

About the role:

As an Apprentice Early Years Educator you will be a key part of keep our children safe, loved and inspired to learn. Key activities include:

• Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily
• Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions
• Bond with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moment

Essentials:

• Are 16 or over, have a passion for children and an aptitude for learning
• Minimum requirements to apply for this role are English and Maths GCSE grades 2 or E or above OR Functional Skills Level 1 or above.
• are able to commit to a full apprenticeship programme.
• are patient and friendly
