Job summary

The Learning Hive Nursery School, part of the Storal group, seeks an Apprentice Early Years Educator to help keep children safe, loved, and inspired to learn. You will apply the Storal curriculum and engage families daily in a nurturing setting.

Ideal candidates are 16+, with English and Maths GCSE or Functional Skills; you will commit to a full apprenticeship and work in a supportive team with parents and carers. DBS upfront is provided.

Qualifications

• Are 16 or over with a passion for children and an aptitude for learning.
• English and Maths GCSE grades 2 or E or above, or Functional Skills Level 1+.
• Commit to a full apprenticeship programme.
• Patient and friendly.

Responsibilities

• Applying the Storal curriculum and pedagogy principles to daily activities.
• Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes and transitions.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 36 hours.

Salary: £8 per hour

About the role:

As an Apprentice Early Years Educator you will be a key part of keep our children safe, loved and inspired to learn. Key activities include:

• Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily
• Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions
• Bond with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments

Essentials

• Are 16 or over, have a passion for children and an aptitude for learning
• Minimum requirements to apply for this role are English and Maths GCSE grades 2 or E or above OR Functional Skills Level 1 or above.
• are able to commit to a full apprenticeship programme.
• are patient and friendly
