Job summary

Bright Horizons Chineham Park Day Nursery and Preschool in Chineham (Basingstoke) is seeking an Early Years Apprentice. You will care for children up to 5 years old, support learning through play, and undertake training toward a formal qualification with assessor support.

We offer a 26,662.20 GBP per annum salary (dependent on qualification/experience), a 40% childcare discount, enhanced parental leave, 20 days leave plus bank holidays, pension, and wellbeing benefits.

Responsibilities

• As an Early Years Apprentice, you will look after babies and children up to age 5 as part of a supportive team.
• You will participate in interactive play, activities, reading, and exploration to support learning.
• With your assessor, you will attend required training and coursework toward your formal qualification.
• You will reflect and use feedback to enhance development and learning.

You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – creating learning opportunities that support the children’s learning. With the support of your assessor, you will attend all required training and coursework for completion of your formal qualification.
