Qualifications

• MSc or equivalent in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, Ocean/Offshore Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Naval Architecture, or closely related discipline.
• Strong ability to deliver independent research and develop a high-quality research profile.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C++ for data analysis, automation or ML; experience with computational mechanics and lab/field tests.

Responsibilities

• Undertake innovative research within the MSCA DOCTORAL NETWORK POSEIDON.
• Develop data science and ML approaches for large environmental datasets (geospatial, weather, tide).
• Collaborate with partners across Europe and participate in international secondments.
